What kind of warranty will I receive with my new home? Your new home comes with a third party ten (10) year limited warranty.

Where do you build? Green Star Energy Homes is pleased to build fine homes in and around the Montgomery and Harris County areas.

How do I make my finish selections? While you are able to choose your finishes from anywhere, our design center is a convenient one-stop location to make nearly all your selections. We also have relationships with a variety of local suppliers where you can visit their showrooms.

Can I make changes after the contract is signed? Our bids are carefully prepared and based on our discussions and meetings with you. Any changes, even minor ones, may involve additional costs. If they do, you will be notified of these costs and, upon your written approval along with payment, work on those changes will begin.

Are your homes professionally inspected? Every home we build is inspected by a third party licensed home inspection professional. They must each pass a series of inspections both structural and energy efficient.

How long will my home take to build? Most homes can be built within six months from ground breaking. However, certain obstacles can affect construction and may cause some delays.

Can I visit the job site during construction? Yes, however for insurance and safety purposes the best time to visit is in the evening or during the weekend after the trades have cleaned up and are gone for the day.
- If I have questions or concerns during my site visits, can I ask the subcontractors? For your benefit and the benefit of the project we ask that you funnel all questions and communication through the office. This allows us to maintain control over the project.
